About Mattresses...
We are v-e-r-y picky about the quality of our sleep, as are many of the guests who come to stay with us...
So, we have our mattresses especially custom hand-made for us by expert local crasftsmen,
they're covered with quality imported fabrics and filled with 100% pure cotton, for a delicious (& healthy!) sleep.

These mattresses are "firm" but not "hard" (after all, that's cotton in there!)

We frequently have guests who love our mattresses so much that they buy the one they slept on!
So we keep a "standing order" (they make a certain quantity for us every month) and occasionally have a surplus,
for this reason we occasionally have mattresses for sale that have been used as little as one or two times...

If you are looking for a mattress and want to save money at the same time as getting great sleep,
come by and see them... very unique, and very comfortable!

** please note that we love these mattresses... and pretty much everybody who tries them does too... but they are "different" from the
traditional spring style mattress... so we very much encourage & prefer folks to come and "try before they buy". in the case where that
is not convenient, we are happy to arrange to ship you the mattress... however (for hygenic reasons) we absolutely cannot accept
any returns of mattresses once shipped **

IMPORTANT NOTE RE PAYMENT FOR MATTRESS ORDERS: In all cases where mattresses are "custom-ordered" (ie, not an on-the-spot purchase), a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to start the order.
The balance is due WHEN THE MATTRESS IS DONE AND READY TO BE PICKED UP from the mattress-makers, NOT when the customer is ready to receive it or have it shipped to their location.
The mattress makers will NOT release a mattress to us which is not paid in full, nor do they have space to store mattresses for customers who do not pay promptly, so after a 72-hour grace period of an unpaid mattress,
they reserve the right to sell the mattress to another person and the customer who placed the order forfeits their deposit.
NOTE RE COTTON: in the interest of being environmentally-friendly, some of the 100% cotton-filled mattresses may include NEW recycled cotton fibers & materials.
Cotton is very difficult to find in Costa Rica (if you have a source, please let us know!) We are told that what we purchase is 100% "cotton" (which we believe),
however at times it comes from the factory with pieces of materials (supposedly also 100% cotton materials left over from production, which they shred to extend
the "cotton" we purchase). As our primary concern is the soft/firmness which this material provides, and to avoid "polyester" fill and other un-natural materials,
we acccept the "cotton" we are sold in good faith, but beyond the above cannot ensure or guarantee any additional quality aspects of the "cotton" filling.

THERE IS NO RETURN FOR ANY MATRESS
due to hygenic reasons, once you have taken delivery. Please examine any mattress (new or used) carefully at the time of delivery to be satisfied it is in excellent condition and to your satisfaction.
